KEY INGREDIENTS
KOJIC DIPALMITATE (KAD); is a skin lightening agent – a stabilized derivative of kojic acid (KA). KAD inhibits tyrosinase, blocking the production of melanin more effectively than KA. It also possesses anti-ageing activity. KAD helps clear age spots, evens out the skin tone and removes other pigmentary disorders
CETYL TRANEXAMATE (TXC) ; Is considered to be 60 times more effective at lightening the skin than plain tranexamic acid. TXC is able to lighten age spots, and hyperpigmentation and brighten the skin, TXC prevents the UV-induced activation of melanocytes. It treats the visible effects of inflammation and pigmentation after sun exposure
OAT BETA GLUCAN: Is a super skin soothing active and is especially useful for irritated, sensitive and sun damaged skin types
EMOLLIENTS :
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride; Is a naturally derived ester emollient from coconut, rapeseed, etc. It provides long-spreading and a non-greasy feel to the skin. It is a natural replacement for natural oils that can leave the skin feeling greasy and sticky, which can lead to breakouts
Olive Squalane; Is a natural emollient derived 100% from unsaponified molecules of olive oil. It is a conditioning emollient with skin-softening properties and a silky after-feel. It has good spreading properties, lubricity, and superior stability. Squalane is produced naturally by the skin but decreases with age. This formula uses Kojic Dipalmitate which is not sensitizing like regular kojic acid to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production and Cetyl Tranexamate HCI (TXC) with increased skin penetration which is considered to be several times more effective at lightening the skin than plain tranexamic acid.
